Le passage Ben Aïad est le dernier vestige du passage du Saumon, reconstruit par l'architecte Rohault de Fleury entre 1826 et 1828, qui reliait la rue Montorgueil et la rue Montmartre. Sur la nef principale, s'ouvraient deux galeries : au sud, la galerie du salon et au nord, la galerie des bains (au fond d'une cour se trouvaient les bains publics). Galerie en grande partie démolie à la fin du 19e siècle.

History
The passage Ben Aïad is the last vestige of the passage du Saumon, rebuilt by architect Rohault de Fleury between 1826 and 1828, which linked rue Montorgueil and rue Montmartre. On the main nave, two galleries opened: to the south, the gallery of the salon and to the north, the gallery of the baths (at the end of a courtyard were located the public baths). Gallery largely demolished at the end of the 19th century.
