Ancien grenier à fourrage transformé en chalet pour Eugène Claudius-Petit, ministre de la Reconstruction et de l'Urbanisme. L'architecte Laurent Chappis conçoit un habitat minimum selon le prototype réalisé pour lui-même, dans le cadre d'un plan de lotissement d'une quinzaine de parcelles. Le volume est unique, composé d'une construction en charpente de bois, de plain pied, d'un seul niveau d'habitation, agrandie d'une adjonction en appentis adossée sur un côté. C'est aujourd'hui la seule construction du lotissement conservée en son état d'origine.

History
Former hay loft transformed into a chalet for Eugène Claudius-Petit, minister of Reconstruction and Town Planning. Architect Laurent Chappis designed a minimum dwelling according to the prototype he realised for himself, as part of a development plan for some fifteen plots. The volume is single, composed of timber-frame construction, single storey, at ground level, enlarged by a lean-to extension attached to one side. It is today the only construction of the development preserved in its original state.
