Devenue simple exploitation agricole, la ferme conserve néanmoins les caractéristiques du domaine antérieur, notamment par ses dimensions. Elle cessera d'être exploitée en 1990. Dans l'orientation de ses bâtiments comme dans ses dispositions intérieures et jusque dans ses techniques de construction à pans de bois, cette ferme est représentative de l'habitat bressan.

The fief of la Train was leased from 1736 and passed permanently to farmers in 1760.
