History
Built in 1908 thanks to a public subscription, the building illustrates, in a monumental style, the power of this organism for the defence of the rights of miners. The main room, used as a banquet hall, occupies the centre of the building and meeting spaces complete the interior arrangement of the building. The stairwell offers a bas-relief which draws its inspiration from the activity of miners: lamp, pickaxe and helmets intertwined with garlands of flowers.
