La sucrerie, construite sur un ancien moulin à vapeur, se compose de plusieurs corps de bâtiments abritant installations industrielles et magasins, ainsi que d'une maison d'habitation avec jardin. L'ensemble a été conservé, à l'exception du mur de clôture, de bâtiments périphériques et du hangar à betteraves. L'usine fut le siège d'une entreprise sucrière qui établit son emprise sur toute la Bourgogne et fit partie des huit groupes sucriers présents en France à la veille de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. La production s'arrêta en 1966.

History
The sugar refinery, built on a former steam-powered mill, consists of several blocks of buildings housing industrial installations and warehouses, as well as a dwelling house with garden. The whole has been preserved, with the exception of the boundary wall, peripheral buildings and the beet shed. The factory was the seat of a sugar company which established its grip over the whole of Burgundy and was part of the eight sugar groups present in France on the eve of the Second World War. Production stopped in 1966.
