La grande fontaine est une construction de la deuxième moitié du 18ème siècle. Un lavoir fut édifié à proximité, au début du 19ème siècle, protégé par un toit à croupes sur piliers en pierre et fermé d'un mur de clôture en 1848. La fontaine se compose d'un bassin de plan octogonal et d'une pile de jet centrale carrée à panneaux moulurés et fleurons. Cette fontaine est le seul élément subsistant de l'ensemble des cinq édifices des eaux existant dans le village à la fin du 18ème siècle.

History
The large fountain is a construction of the second half of the 18th century. A wash house was erected nearby, at the beginning of the 19th century, protected by a roof with hipped ends on stone pillars and closed with a boundary wall in 1848. The fountain is composed of a basin of octagonal plan and a central square water jet pile with moulded panels and fleurons. This fountain is the only remaining element of the set of five water buildings existing in the village at the end of the 18th century.
