Le rocher compte 29 panneaux sur lesquels figurent 860 signes gravés selon le technique dite « naviforme ». Il s'agit de gravures en forme de V ou esquissant le dessin d'une coque d'un navire, obtenues en incisant la roche du haut vers le bas. Ce grand panneau d'Enveitg sert de fondement au discours scientifique sur les gravures rupestres de Cerdagne, en particulier pour la période ibère. Ce rocher constitue un unicum qui a permis d'attester, pour la première fois, une datation protohistorique (ibère) des gravures naviformes et de démontrer qu'elles avaient un sens.

History
The rock comprises 29 panels on which appear 860 signs engraved according to the so-called "naviforme" technique. These are V-shaped engravings or sketching the drawing of a ship's hull, obtained by incising the rock from top to bottom. This large panel of Enveitg serves as the foundation for scientific discourse on rock engravings of Cerdagne, in particular for the Iberian period.
