La chapelle est citée en 1153 mais semble avoir été construite plus tôt, au 11ème siècle. L'église se compose d'une nef principale avec, au nord, une seconde nef plus étroite. Les parties les plus anciennes datent du 11ème siècle et se caractérisent par l'utilisation de galets de rivière et de pierres d'époque romaine. Les deux absides en cul de four sont éclairées par une fenêtre axiale. L'entrée se fait par un portail situé au sud précédé par un porche. Les voussures et rampants du portail possèdent un effet de polychromie réalisé avec des grès rouge et gris. L'intérieur de l'église est orné de peintures ( représentation de Dieu le Père entouré de têtes d'angelots, décors peints au pochoir).

History
The chapel is cited in 1153 but appears to have been built earlier, in the 11th century. The church is composed of a main nave with, to the north, a second narrower nave. The oldest parts date from the 11th century and are characterised by the use of river pebbles and stones from the Roman period. The two apses in shell form are lit by an axial window. The entrance is by a portal situated to the south preceded by a porch. The voussoirs and rampants of the portal possess an effect of polychromy achieved with red and grey sandstone. The interior of the church is adorned with paintings (representation of God the Father surrounded by cherub heads, decorations painted by stencil).
