L'église est une reconstruction de la première moitié du 17ème siècle sur les fondations d'une église collégiale attestée depuis 1306. Elle fut restaurée à partir de 1875 dans un style néogothique visant à lui redonner sa cohérence d'église-halle voûtée de croisées d'ogives. L'édifice comporte également des éléments architecturaux de différentes époques qui témoignent de l'histoire et des vicissitudes de la cité au cours des guerres de Religion

History
The church is a reconstruction of the first half of the 17th century on the foundations of a collegiate church attested since 1306. It was restored from 1875 onwards in a neo-gothic style aimed at restoring to it the coherence of a hall church with rib vault. The building also comprises architectural elements from different periods which attest to the history and vicissitudes of the city during the Wars of Religion.
