The church was originally to consist of a nave with a flat chevet. Facing of courses of "Toulousaine" bricks alternating with beds of pebbles jointed in a mortar bed; buttresses in brick. Of this primitive nave there remains the east wall of the chevet. At a later period, probably in the 17th century, this single nave is flanked by two arms of wide and short transept, thus rendering the plan of the building substantially cruciform. In the 18th century, a bell tower with a classical portal is raised to the west of the primitive nave and forms a porch open onto the cemetery. The wall of the chevet is heightened or remade as an acute gable. These additions are realized in facing of brick and pebbles, similar to that of the primitive nave. Inside, a timber rib vault covers the nave. Large segmental arches allow communication between the latter and the arms of the transept constituting lateral chapels.
