Ce bâtiment à ossature de bois (au rez-de-chaussée, des piles de pierre soutiennent les poutres composant la structure de tous les étages) était un entrepôt donnant sur un canal (actuelle rue Galaperie, remblayée en 1623). L'accès au rez-de-chaussée pouvait se faire en barque. Un escalier latéral à une volée droite dessert les étages où les marchandises étaient hissées au moyen d'une poulie dans un puits de jour.

History
This timber-framed building (on the ground floor, stone piles support the beams forming the structure of all the storeys) was a warehouse opening onto a canal (present-day rue Galaperie, filled in in 1623). Access to the ground floor could be made by boat. A lateral straight-flight staircase serves the storeys where goods were hoisted by means of a pulley in a light-well.
