Historique
Eglise donnée pour moitié à Lescar, à la fin du 11e ou au début du 12e siècle. D'un édifice du 12e siècle subsistent les parties basses du chevet et sans doute le gros œuvre de l'élévation occidentale. D'importantes transformations eurent lieu à la fin du 15e siècle et au début du 16e, sans doute à la suite d'une destruction partielle (bas-côté nord et parties hautes du vaisseau central et du chevet). Le clocher-porche abrite un portail Renaissance du deuxième quart du 16e siècle. Ce clocher-porche, desservi par un escalier en vis, dut jouer le rôle de beffroi. Il est possible qu'il n'ait été terminé qu'à la fin du 16e siècle. Construction de la sacristie en 1860, du bas-côté sud en 1866, réfection de la charpente du clocher en 1902. Une restauration récente a fait disparaître le décor intérieur du sanctuaire

History
Church given half to Lescar at the end of the 11th or beginning of the 12th century. From a 12th-century building survive the lower parts of the chevet and probably the main structure of the western elevation. Major transformations took place at the end of the 15th century and beginning of the 16th, probably following partial destruction (north aisle and upper parts of the central nave and chevet). The porch tower houses a Renaissance doorway of the second quarter of the 16th century. This porch tower, served by a spiral staircase, must have served as a belfry. It is possible that it was not completed until the end of the 16th century. Construction of the sacristy in 1860, of the south aisle in 1866, renewal of the bell tower roof structure in 1902. Recent restoration removed the interior decoration of the sanctuary
