History
In 2010-2011, an important Gallo-Roman site corresponding to a vast villa was uncovered. This villa comprised a part reserved for craft and agricultural activities, a residential part as well as a private sanctuary inscribed within a sacred enclosure surrounding various buildings, of which two temples, and pierced by a monumental entrance portico. Its state of preservation is exceptional. Its walls, very high in certain places, are decorated with paintings still visible.
