Cet édifice, élevé en 1760, est composé de trois corps de bâtiments disposés en U autour d'une cour d'honneur. Les façades sont traitées en pierre de Volvic et enduits clairs. L'architecture est d'inspiration archaïque, de style Louis XIII, mais dénote également une reprise d'éléments antérieurs qui se retrouvent dans l'escalier monumental présentant un jour central supporté par des colonnes toscanes. Ses paliers sont prolongés par une tribune découverte. Les aménagements intérieurs du 19ème siècle ont été conservés en grande partie.

History
This edifice, erected in 1760, is composed of three buildings arranged in a U-shape around a courtyard of honour. The façades are treated in Volvic stone and light render. The architecture is of archaic inspiration, Louis XIII style, but also shows a reuse of earlier elements found in the monumental staircase presenting a central light-well supported by Tuscan columns. Its landings are extended by an open gallery. The interior arrangements of the 19th century have been largely preserved.
