En 1725, monsieur du Jouhannel de Jenzat, procureur au bureau des finances de Riom, achète une maison gothique qu'il fait démolir en conservant les substructures (voûte, sous-sol). Il fait reconstruit un hôtel Louis XV, meublé au goût du jour. A la Révolution, l'hôtel est en partie loué par chambres jusque vers 1850. L'hôtel a conservé son mobilier du 18e siècle.

History
In 1725, Monsieur du Jouhannel de Jenzat, attorney at the finance office of Riom, purchases a Gothic house which he has demolished while preserving the substructures (vault, basement). He had rebuilt a Louis XV house, furnished in the taste of the day. At the Revolution, the house is partly let by rooms until around 1850. The house has preserved its 18th-century furniture.
