History
This building constructed in 1933 by architect Ernest Pincot constitutes one of the most accomplished realizations of the Art Deco style in Auvergne. Built on a narrow, very steep triangular plot, it develops below a base with overhanging and stepped façades. The treatment of the corner in rounded form as well as the height and narrowness of the openings emphasized by vertical mouldings on the angles, give the building much elegance and lightness. Terrace roof emphasized by an openwork concrete balustrade and ceramic inlays with geometric motifs.
