History
Building rebuilt in the 17th century on the foundations of an edifice of the 13th. The street façade was remade; the main dwelling doubled in depth; an original staircase was replaced by a spiral staircase; the upper hall was divided in its height and the apartments created received decoration of the period. The edifice preserves important medieval remains, in particular a window of the upper hall and a roof structure covered with decoration of 224 painted panels of which 67 have been preserved. This decoration, dated 1238, is painted on a blue or red ground, and constituted of heraldic or other motifs (hybrid or fantastical beings, vegetable motifs, animals, geometric forms).
