Pont construit probablement au 13e siècle. Il constitue l'un des exemples les plus remarquables de ce type d'ouvrage d'art en Basse-Auvergne. History
Bridge probably constructed in the 13th century. It constitutes one of the most remarkable examples of this type of engineering work in Lower Auvergne. The work is represented in a drawing from the middle of the 15th century, a time when the ramparts were being rebuilt and enlarged. This bridge served one of the main gates of the town. It consists of four pointed arches which could date back to the 13th century. Four piers with pointed cutwater support the four arches, providing refuges bounded by parapets. The deck is built in slight overhang, carried by reversed quarter-round corbels.
