L'architecte Ruprich-Robert est chargé de construire la nouvelle église. Il conçoit un édifice néo-roman à trois nefs sans transept, et une abside semi-circulaire. Les travaux commencent en 1857. L'église est achevée en 1895 par l'architecte Amiard. A l'intérieur, décor sculpté sur les chapiteaux, pilastres et retombées des voûtes des bas-côtés. Le peintre Louis Chifflet procède à la décoration murale entre 1888 et 1894, dans un style évoquant l'art byzantin pour le choeur.

History
The architect Ruprich-Robert was entrusted with constructing the new church. He designed a neo-Romanesque building with three naves without a transept, and a semicircular apse. Work began in 1857. The church was completed in 1895 by architect Amiard. Inside, sculptured decoration on the capitals, pilasters and springings of the aisles' rib vaults. Painter Louis Chifflet carried out the wall decoration between 1888 and 1894, in a style evoking Byzantine art for the choir.
