History
The picturesque site of Saint-Céneri possessed all the ingredients to attract the eye of the painter during the summer period in the post-romantic era. Thus was born the school known as Saint-Céneri with painters foremost among which we find Mary Renard and Paul Saïn. Seduced by the site, other artists joined this pleasant fellowship.
