L'ancien hôtel Legangneux, devenu aujourd'hui l'auberge des Peintres, ayant conservé encore 28 panneaux peints directement sur les murs, forme le second site artistique de Saint-Céneri, avec l'ancienne auberge de Moisy. Trois peintures les plus grandes et les plus abouties se trouvent au rez-de-chaussée dans la salle du restaurant. Il s'agit de trois paysages de Mary Renard. Les autres peintures sont situées dans une salle du premier étage, qui sert actuellement de débarras. Une autre salle adjacente, toujours au premier étage, présente un unique panneau peint : Saint Céneri et Flavard traversant la Sarthe, dont le monogramme identifie l'artiste en la personne de René Thurin. The former Legangneux hotel, now become the Auberge des Peintres, having preserved still 28 panels painted directly on the walls, forms the second artistic site of Saint-Céneri, with the former Moisy inn. The three largest and most accomplished paintings are found on the ground floor in the restaurant room. These are three landscapes by Mary Renard. The other paintings are located in a room on the first floor, which currently serves as storage. Another adjacent room, still on the first floor, presents a single painted panel: Saint Céneri and Flavard crossing the Sarthe, whose monogram identifies the artist as René Thurin. More generally, the identifiable signatures of Masson in 1882, Harpignies in 1891, Gardon in 1901, Foreau, and Mary Renard in 1918, 1921, 1923 and Paly in 1941 are noted.
