Historique
L'implantation des Protestants dans la région de Roubaix culmine à la fin du 19ème siècle, nécessitant l'édification d'un nouveau temple. La construction est entreprise en 1870 et le temple est inauguré en 1871. Ce temple présente un caractère très original par la typologie générale de l'ensemble qu'il forme avec le presbytère et la maison paroissiale ainsi que par la grande qualité de son espace intérieur, notamment avec ses tribunes continues. Il tire également sa singularité de l'utilisation omniprésente d'un bois ciré assez sombre dans toute la partie basse formant contraste avec les murs blanchis et, de nouveau, contraste avec les voûtes exécutées dans le même bois.

History
The settlement of Protestants in the Roubaix region culminated at the end of the 19th century, necessitating the construction of a new temple.
