Historique
Cette maison d'angle en béton recouverte de briquettes jaunes s'inscrit dans le courant du mouvement moderne. Elle a été construite pour la famille du blanchisseur Sdez par l'architecte Marcel Boudin dans le style paquebot. Le jeu des volumes est intéressant : travée en rotonde sur deux niveaux, décrochement des volumes cubiques, galerie reliant la maison et la dépendance dans le jardin. Les menuiseries ont été remplacées par du PVC. L'intérieur ne présente pas de décor particulier. La pièce en rotonde dégage un volume de sept mètres sous plafond éclairé au niveau du premier étage par des hublots dont les vitraux ont été conservés. L'escalier dessert une coursive menant au bureau ouvert sur ce vaste espace.

History
This corner house in concrete covered with yellow bricks is part of the modern movement current. It was built for the family of launderer Sdez by architect Marcel Boudin in the ship-style. The play of volumes is interesting: rotunda bay on two levels, stepping back of cubic volumes, gallery linking the house and the dependency in the garden. The joinery has been replaced by PVC. The interior does not present any particular decoration. The rotunda room creates a volume of seven metres under ceiling lit at the first floor level by portholes whose stained glass has been preserved. The staircase serves a gallery leading to the office opening onto this vast space.
