Il s'implante sur un terrain qui bénéficie d'un environnement naturel défini par l'EPALE et présente une superficie de plus de 7500 m². Son système structurel utilise une structure poteau-poutre de béton armé et un remplissage de briques appareillées en panneresse sans aucune coupe.

History
Built from 1978 to 1983, the museum of modern art constitutes one of three museum works by architect Roland Simounet, also author of the Museum of Prehistory of Nemours and the Picasso Museum of Paris. It is located on land that benefits from a natural environment defined by EPALE and has an area of more than 7,500 m². Its structural system uses a column-beam structure of reinforced concrete and infill of bricks laid in stretcher bond without any cutting.
