La construction de l'école de natation, bains et lavoir a été décidée par le conseil municipal en 1890. La conception est l'oeuvre de l'ingénieur hygiéniste Edmond Philippe, dont c'est le second exemple dans la région. Le bâtiment a été reconstruit en 1923 après sa destruction pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. En briques, il est implanté à l'angle de deux rues.

The construction of the swimming school, baths and laundry was decided by the municipal council in 1890. The design is the work of the hygienist engineer Edmond Philippe, of which this is the second example in the region. The building was rebuilt in 1923 after its destruction during the First World War.
