History
Built in 1893 by the Belgian architect Auguste-Georges Dubois for his father, contemporary with the Art Nouveau architecture of Horta in Brussels, this house appeals to an interesting and novel decorative register. The main facade, composed of an elevation with three levels is covered with a facing of enamelled green bricks. The windows located on the first floor are surmounted by a frieze, ornamented with three cartouches, bearing the date of construction of the building, alternating with figures of women encased in terracotta. Inside, the drawing room overlooking the street contains a coffered ceiling.
