Construite vers 1890, la teinturerie était spécialisée dans les apprêts de laine et de coton. Bien intégrée dans le tissu urbain, elle s'arrondit à un angle de rues et développe ses façades à trois niveaux percées de hautes fenêtres rectangulaires. L'originalité de l'édifice réside dans le jeu polychrome du parement de brique, dans l'équilibre des travées surmontées d'arcs en plein-cintre et dans l'emploi de la fonte et du fer en éléments décoratifs, sur le touquet (sphères armillaires et ancres portant les initiales LC). Elle a cessé son activité vers 1960.

History
Built around 1890, the dye works specialised in the finishing of wool and cotton. Well integrated into the urban fabric, it curves at a street corner and develops its façades in three storeys pierced by tall rectangular windows. The originality of the building resides in the polychrome play of brick facing, in the balance of the bays surmounted by round arches and in the use of cast iron and iron as decorative elements, on the market stall (armillary spheres and anchors bearing the initials LC). It ceased operations around 1960.
