The Ministère de la Culture's notice
Historique

History
The building of the 15th-16th centuries was rebuilt in 1781. It operated with two wheels placed on the north elevation which drove the rotation of two pairs of millstones. Composed of two building blocks, the mill lost its return wing to the south, probably around 1930, following the establishment of a grinding system requiring the use of the roof space. Two grinding processes coexist, testifying to the evolution of techniques: grinding with stone millstones and grinding using mechanical cylinders and planshister.
