Le premier manoir de Tromeur remonte au 15e siècle, où il semble avoir été le chef-lieu des seigneurs de Sérent, famille puissante de barons depuis le 14e siècle. History
The first manor of Tromeur dates from the 15th century, where it appears to have been the seat of the lords of Sérent, a powerful family of barons since the 14th century. The manorial complex was then organized around a square tower enclosed by walls, and was composed of a small manor with a corner staircase tower having direct access, a gate house, outbuildings, a dovecote and a well. In the 18th century, Tromeur was purchased by a family of Rennes parliamentarians, the Collobels. The manor was enlarged towards the south and north, the facades were refaced in the style of the day and, inside, the rooms were panelled. But all these arrangements remain of very simple workmanship. It was also at this period that the park began to be organized following the relocation of the main entrance to the garden side. In the 19th century, the internal layout of the manor was divided into two with the construction of a staircase serving the northern part of the manor. On the south side, unremarkable bedrooms were arranged.
