Historique

History
The lordship is attested in the 16th century. Originally, the domain consisted of a large house with, on each side, outbuildings. The entrance was limited by two granite pillars on a bridge overarching the moat. Inside, the rooms were arranged in enfilade. This manor corresponded to the renovations of the 17th-18th centuries of a fortified dwelling of the 15th century of which the octagonal tower and an interior spiral staircase subsist. The construction of the outbuildings dates from 1775. Between 1896 and 1900, the ensemble is transformed into a domain of classical style. The front elevation is completely recomposed. A north wing is added. A projecting rectangular pavilion is added to the rear west elevation, to which is attached in the interior north angle a turret of latrines. A closed gallery connects the north wing and the staircase turret of the 15th century. Two pavilions are constructed to the north and south, linked to the building by a gate which closes the courtyard and in the extension of which establish themselves the two wings of recomposed outbuildings. Creation of a French garden in the courtyard of honour. The interior decoration comprises panelling, painted ceiling, monumental fireplace... The remodelling of this domain illustrates a type of restoration aiming to monumentalise an existing building through symmetrical enlargement and a general composition inspired by 17th-century architecture.
