Il a été modifié dans le dernier tiers du 16e siècle (après 1566), avec une reprise complète des étages. Plus tard, des travaux d'une certaine importance concernent la charpente et le solivage du rez-de-chaussée. Les deux cheminées semblent dater du 17e siècle avec une modification des trumeaux au 18e s. Le décor est exceptionnel.

History
Dendrochronological analyses allow certain elements to be dated. The building was erected in the early 14th century following the construction of the neighbouring castle whose presence is attested from 1214 but before that of the urban walls. It was modified in the last third of the 16th century (after 1566), with complete refurbishment of the floors. Later, work of considerable importance concerns the roof structure and the joisting of the ground floor. The two chimneys appear to date from the 17th century with modification of the mullions in the 18th century. The decoration is exceptional.
