Le prieuré dépendait de l'abbaye de Rebais-en-Brie. History
The priory was dependent on the abbey of Rebais-en-Brie. Initially established on the Saint-Hilaire hill, it moved at the same time as the inhabitants to the site of the present-day village, after Thibaut I had built a castle there around 1200. The building known as the prior's house was constructed in the 16th century. The facades facing the street and rear were later modified. Apart from the cellars, the house comprises a square storey and an attic level served by a staircase with a helical string. On the ground floor, the kitchen has retained its fireplace and its water stone. The ceiling of the first floor conceals the beams of a French ceiling.
