Enceinte élevée en 1270 et renforcée jusqu'au 16e siècle. Démantelée en 1672. La maison, reconstruite au 19e siècle, résulte d'une surélévation de la courtine et comprend deux tours plus tardives. L'empereur Guillaume II y a séjourné les 1er et 2 septembre 1914 lors de l'avancée de ses troupes.

History
Enclosure raised in 1270 and reinforced until the 16th century. Dismantled in 1672. The house, rebuilt in the 19th century, results from a heightening of the curtain wall and comprises two later towers. Emperor Wilhelm II stayed there on 1st and 2nd September 1914 during the advance of his troops.
