Construit en 1777, cet hôtel est représentatif de la prospérité du commerce des toiles à Laval au 18e siècle. L'édifice est divisé en deux : la partie ouest est destinée à l'usage familial ; la partie est comprend les magasins, calandres, presse et bureaux. Réutilisation en hospice depuis la fin du 19e siècle. L'essentiel du décor d'origine a été préservé (cheminées, boiseries, ferronneries...).

History
Built in 1777, this hôtel is representative of the prosperity of the linen trade in Laval in the 18th century. The building is divided in two: the western part is intended for family use; the eastern part comprises the shops, calenders, press and offices. Reused as an almshouse since the end of the 19th century. The essential part of the original decoration has been preserved (fireplaces, woodwork, ironwork...).
