Le manoir de Quettreville, dit de Surcouf, du nom du corsaire qui le posséda au début du XIXe siècle, est composé d'un logis du dernier tiers du XVIe siècle, agrandi et réaménagé dans les années 1740, exceptionnellement disposé au milieu d'une cour formée d'un ensemble de bâtiments agricoles. Le site comporte un vivier, une importante portion de mur d'enceinte, ainsi qu'une chapelle fondée en 1460. Ce manoir est représentatif d'un groupe d'édifices identiques (manoir de la Crasvillerie, du Gué Marais à Carnet, des Réaux à Cambernon et du Grand Taute à Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin), qui se caractérisent par leur hermétisme envers les motifs de la Renaissance, la fidélité à des ornements discrets de style gothique, et aussi une dimension de défense marquée (fenêtres de tir, douves, murs d'enceinte).

The manor of Quettreville, known as the manor of Surcouf, named after the corsair who possessed it in the early 19th century, is composed of a main dwelling from the last third of the 16th century, enlarged and remodelled in the 1740s, exceptionally disposed in the middle of a courtyard formed by a range of agricultural buildings. The site comprises a fish pond, a substantial portion of boundary wall, as well as a chapel founded in 1460. This manor is representative of a group of identical buildings (manor of la Crasvillerie, of Gué Marais at Carnet, of Réaux at Cambernon and of Grand Taute at Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin), which are characterized by their hermeticism towards Renaissance motifs, their fidelity to discreet ornaments of Gothic style, and also a marked defensive dimension (gun loops, moats, boundary walls).
