Selon la tradition locale, un château aurait existé à Fermanville, au roc du Castel, sur le rivage de l'Anse de la Mondrée. Quoiqu'il en soit, l'actuel manoir d'Inthéville se situe à quelque distance du Roc et du rivage, au lieu-dit la Cour d'Inthéville. Le vocable cour indique incontestablement l'existence en ce lieu, depuis l'époque féodale, d'une curtis, résidence seigneuriale d'exploitation domaniale. According to local tradition, a château would have existed at Fermanville, at the Roc du Castel, on the shore of the Anse de la Mondrée.
