Situé dans un jardin public, en face de la gare, lédifice se compose dun socle central surmonté dune statue intitulée « Le baiser de la gloire » qui représente une Victoire ailée embrassant un Poilu mourant. De chaque côté de ce socle encadré dun poilu debout, deux ailes basses, sur lesquelles ont été gravés les noms des victimes de la guerre 1914-1918, sont surmontées des inscriptions sur un fond de mosaïque : « A nous le souvenir « A eux limmortalité ». Elles sont flanquées de deux pleureuses.

History
Located in a public garden, opposite the station, the building consists of a central base surmounted by a statue entitled "The kiss of glory" which represents a winged Victory embracing a dying soldier. On each side of this base framed by a standing soldier, two low wings, on which have been engraved the names of the victims of the war 1914-1918, are surmounted by inscriptions on a background of mosaic: "To us the memory" "To them immortality". They are flanked by two mourning figures.
