Le château de Canabazès est un édifice du 16e siècle ayant appartenu à la famille de Lustrac. Devenu bien national, puis entré au domaine foncier de l'ordre de la légion d'honneur, il est rentré dans le patrimoine des Lustrac en 1811. C'est à cette période qu'il connut les principales modifications. Cependant, il est un des rares petits châteaux agenais du 16e siècle à avoir conservé quasiment intacte son enceinte.

History
The château of Canabazès is a 16th-century building which belonged to the family of Lustrac. Having become national property, then entered into the land domain of the order of the legion of honour, it returned to the patrimony of the Lustrac in 1811. It was during this period that it underwent the principal modifications. However, it is one of the rare small 16th-century Agenais châteaux to have preserved almost intact its enclosure.
