Le château de Lacam est un édifice reconstruit en 1682 à 1695, date inscrite sur la porte de l'aile est, par Jean-Claude Coderc de Lacam avec l'autorisation de son suzerain le baron de Frespech. Ce château, bâti sur un éperon, se compose d'un corps central et de deux ailes en retour d'équerre fermant avec les communs une cour intérieure. La grande salle du château a conservé sa cheminée d'origine. C'est dans cette pièce qu'est exposé le portrait à cheval de Coderc de Lacam, capitaine de chevau-légers. On dispose avec Lacam d'un témoin référencé des modes de construire pour l'architecture castrale de la fin du 17e siècle.

History
The château of Lacam is a building reconstructed from 1682 to 1695, the date inscribed on the door of the east wing, by Jean-Claude Coderc de Lacam with the permission of his feudal lord the baron de Frespech. This château, built on a spur, consists of a central block and two wings returning at right angles, enclosing with the outbuildings an interior courtyard. The great hall of the château has retained its original fireplace. It is in this room that the equestrian portrait of Coderc de Lacam, captain of mounted archers, is displayed. With Lacam we have a documented witness to the modes of construction for castral architecture of the end of the 17th century.
