Le site se compose d'une écluse à sas, de la maison éclusière et d'un pont-levis métallique à flèche, construit vers 1889, en même temps que la maison. History
The site consists of a sluice lock with gates, the lock keeper's house and a metal bascule bridge with arm, built around 1889, at the same time as the house. The deck pivots around an axis actuated by a counterweight, allowing the towing rope to pass without interrupting the manoeuvre, while also increasing the headroom clearance. It is the last structure of this type (on the studied network) still in working order.
