En 1310, existence d'un "mas des Hermens" où fut bâtie une maison-forte au cours du 16e siècle, dans la vague de construction de petits édifices rustiques élevés pour des raisons défensives dans le Velay, pendant une période troublée. History
In 1310, existence of a "mas des Hermens" where a fortified house was built during the 16th century, in the wave of construction of small rustic buildings erected for defensive reasons in the Velay, during a troubled period. The ensemble of buildings, arranged in an L shape around a courtyard, comprises the main dwelling with its half-projecting tower on the south façade, the stable adjoining the west façade of the dwelling, and the barn returning towards the south. The main dwelling rises over three levels of openings as does the tower. The great hall on the first floor, as well as the recessed chamber, are lined with 19th century woodwork.
