Historique
L'école, inaugurée en 1859, se présente sous la forme d'un bâtiment rectangulaire, avec un soubassement, deux niveaux, dont un étage carré, ainsi que des combles. Deux ailes en retour s'avancent de part et d'autre en aplomb du jardin. La façade principale comporte sept travées de baies cintrées, en rez-de-chaussée, et de baies rectangulaires pour l'étage. Des deux serres implantées de chaque côté du bâtiment, seule celle située au nord, et construite en 1927, est toujours visible. L'utilisation de pierres décoratives et l'aménagement, en partie basse, d'une imposante rocaille ont pour vocation de donner un aspect naturel en contraste avec le style néo-louis XIII du bâtiment de l'école.

History
The school, inaugurated in 1859, presents itself in the form of a rectangular building, with a basement, two storeys, one of which is a square storey, as well as roof space. Two wings in return project forward on either side in alignment with the garden. The main façade comprises seven bays of round-arched openings, on the ground floor, and rectangular openings for the upper storey. Of the two greenhouses located on either side of the building, only the one situated to the north, and built in 1927, is still visible. The use of decorative stones and the arrangement, in the lower part, of an imposing rockery are intended to give a natural appearance in contrast with the neo-Louis XIII style of the school building.
