Convent priory of nuns of the order of Cîteaux, founded in 1641 by Nicolas Servien and Charles de Bauquemare, counsellors to the king. In 1790, an inventory of the community's property was drawn up. In 1791, seals were placed. The chapel and its bell tower were destroyed after acquisition by the count of Saint-Aignan. In 1835, the prince of Chalais decided to transform the place into a silk-worm nursery, two rooms of which are still preserved on the first floor of the conventional building. He had demolished the wing which made it possible to reach the main building and had part of the gallery of the courtyard closed to create workers' housing. From the end of the 19th century onwards, the conventional building was used as a primary school and saw the re-establishment of the cloister of a chapel. The partially destroyed connecting wing was first used as a playground then closed to create a classroom. The entrance dwelling was converted into a dormitory. The upper floor of the main building became a gymnasium. A pavilion from 1900 was built on older foundations to house the caretaker.
