History
The present arenas succeed a wooden amphitheatre dedicated to the Landais race. Built in 1951, these Spanish arenas are realized in wood and reuse part of the frames of the old structure. Inaugurated in 1951, they are covered and enlarged in 1953. With a capacity of 4000 seats, they constitute an exceptional example of wood construction of such large dimensions for this type of building.
