A l'origine, prieuré bénédictin dépendant de Saint-Sever. Eglise fondée au 12e siècle, remaniée dès le 13e siècle, fortifiée au 14e siècle et restaurée à la fin du Moyen Age. Cédée aux Bénédictines de Bordeaux en 1638, elle devint par la suite simple église paroissiale. Décor intérieur de peintures murales des 18e et 19e siècles.

History
Originally a Benedictine priory dependent on Saint-Sever. Church founded in the 12th century, altered from the 13th century, fortified in the 14th century and restored in the late Middle Ages. Ceded to the Benedictines of Bordeaux in 1638, it subsequently became a simple parish church. Interior decoration of mural paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
