History
The church was rebuilt in 1865-1866 according to the plans of architect Ozanne revised by architect Allard. Of the former building of 1539 only the porch tower and the tower remain. Mural paintings were executed between 1889 and 1919 by Jules and Gaston Gélibert and Claude Drouillard. In 1945, Marcel Dillais executed the final decoration. These are oil paintings on plaster illustrating themes linked to the sea and to sailors.
