Calixte Guerrin de Bletterans fit acquisition, en 1848, d'une concession perpétuelle destinée à son époux décédé, un grand amateur de chasse. La pierre tombale, de forme irrégulière, est dominée par une croix écotée à laquelle est pendu un cornet à poudre. Sur la pierre, sont posés la gibecière, le fusil et le cornet ; le chien fidèle se tient au pied de la croix. History
Calixte Guerrin de Bletterans acquired, in 1848, a perpetual concession for her deceased husband, a great lover of hunting. The tombstone, of irregular form, is dominated by a cross with ends splaying to which is hung a powder horn. On the stone are placed the game bag, the rifle and the powder horn; the faithful dog stands at the foot of the cross. The cast-iron fence surrounding the monument contrasts with this type of Romantic and yet realistic monument.
