Historique
La loge a été créée vers 1763 sous le nom de "silence inviolable". En 1785, elle adopte le nom de "Val d'Amour". Installée dans des locaux loués dans la première moitié du 19e siècle, la société acquiert un petit bâtiment et un jardin en 1861, qu'elle transforme. Les travaux sont réalisés par l'architecte Philippe Ruffier. Un décor d'ensemble est réalisé par la suite par le peintre Mugnier. Deux des pièces les plus significatives du rituel maçonnique reçoivent, pour la salle des banquets, un décor en panoramique représentant plusieurs paysages dolois vus au travers d'arcades à balustrades ; pour le temple, un décor plus abstrait de panneaux séparés par des pilastres. The lodge was created around 1763 under the name "Inviolable Silence". In 1785, it adopted the name "Val d'Amour". Installed in rented premises in the first half of the 19th century, the society acquired a small building and garden in 1861, which it transformed.
