Maison construite en 1912 par l'architecte Perreau, représentative de l'interprétation libre du style 1900 fleurissant à l'écart des centres artistiques majeurs. L'architecte allie de façon hétéroclite certains éléments de l'Art nouveau (lignes courbes, vitraux) au style régionaliste (lucarnes, toits en tuiles vernissées) , et aux styles anciens chargés de conférer une assise historique et érudite au propriétaire (salon Louis XVI, salle à manger Henri II). L'intérieur conserve une grande partie de ses décors d'origine (cheminées, lambris, dessus de porte et dessus de cheminée du salon, vitraux) et de ses aménagements sanitaires (radiateurs en fonte ornés de motifs végétaux, lavabo).

History
House built in 1912 by the architect Perreau, representative of the free interpretation of the 1900 style flourishing away from major artistic centres. The architect combines in an eclectic manner certain elements of Art Nouveau (curved lines, stained glass) with regional style (dormers, glazed tile roofs), and with ancient styles charged with conferring a historical and erudite foundation on the owner (Louis XVI drawing room, Henri II dining room). The interior preserves a large part of its original decoration (fireplaces, wainscoting, overdoors and overmantels of the drawing room, stained glass) and its sanitary arrangements (decorative cast iron radiators with vegetable motifs, washbasin).
