Près de la chapelle Saint-Etienne de Coldre et d'une enceinte protohistorique cet ermitage occupe une position exceptionnelle au-dessus de Conliège, sur le versant ensoleillé de l'entrée de la reculée, dominant un vaste paysage. Son histoire deviendrait plus précise avec l'inscription mentionnant la construction de la chapelle en 1605 par noble C. Robin. Après la révolution, l'ermitage est loué par la commune, mais se dégrade. En 1836, il est loué à Joseph Simonin, ermite qui y fait d'importants travaux. Par la suite, il est à nouveau mal entretenu et vendu en 1927 à la famille Prost qui le restaure. L'association l"Ermitage" l'a racheté en 1996 pour le mettre en valeur. Accessible par des sentiers, ce petit ensemble de bâtiments est établi sur une terrasse ; il est complété par d'autres terrasses (anciens jardins, vigne...) et une alimentation en eau. Near the chapel of Saint-Etienne de Coldre and a protohistoric enclosure this hermitage occupies an exceptional position above Conliège, on the sunny slope of the entrance of the reculée, overlooking a vast landscape. Its history would become more precise with the inscription mentioning the construction of the chapel in 1605 by noble C. Robin. After the revolution, the hermitage is rented by the commune, but deteriorates. In 1836, it is rented to Joseph Simonin, hermit who carries out substantial work there.
